Club Rules
The Clevedon Gamefishing Club (CGFC) adopts the angling rules of the IGFA and NZFSC as published in the NZSFC yearbook. New Zealand Sportfishing Council rules are available at www.nzsportfishing.co.nz
All tournaments conducted by CGFC will be in accordance with IGFA rules and exceptions, if any, will be stated in rules and promotional materials for each tournament.
Only paid financial members or life members are eligible for club pins, points, records and trophies, unless otherwise stipulated in event rules.
Where a member of CGFC is also a member of another NZSFC Club, CGFC will not recognize a caught fish as eligible for trophies/points, unless the weigh-in performed by the other club is specifically recorded as a Courtesy weigh for CGFC.
Top Boat points can only be accumulated by a boat that is not in professional charter at the time ofcapture – charter vessels must be taken out of survey for the days they are recreational fishing.
Catchcards are to be submitted to the recorder within one month of the Catch. All cards must be submitted to the recorder no later than 7 July 2020. While cards can be e-mailed toclevedongfc@hotmail.com in the first instance, originals must be received.
The Committee shall have the right to alter, delete, amend or add to these rules, as it may deem necessary, or in the best interest of CGFC and sports fishing.
Club season commences on 1 July, and concludes on 30 June.
